HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

Health and Sanitation is one of thedepartmentin Community College from the year 2020. The department is offering skill based training courses and the contenthas been developed for enhancing the specific skills and  provides or a platform for imparting skills to the students. B.Voc Health and Sanitation department was recognized and it is affiliated to  the Madurai Kamaraj University from 2022.The department is UGC recognized with financial assistance. The qualified professionals can work as Health Inspectors, Sanitary Inspectors and Public Health workers in Government, private and NGOs sectors viz. They also get placed in government public health departments/ railways/ municipal corporations/ airports / town panchayat and industries.
