College entry timings are changed for students as follows:

Forenoon (Shift – I)

Classes begins at 8:00 am.

College gates will be closed at 9:00 am.

No students will be permitted to enter after 9:00 am.

Afternoon (Shift – II)

Classes begins at 1:45 pm.

College gates will be closed at 2:30 pm.

No students will be permitted to enter after 2:30 pm.

Common name: Theekuchimaram, Indian Tree of Heaven.

Description :

  • A deciduous Tree growing to 25 m at a fast rate.
  • Suitable for light (sandy) and medium (loamy) soils and can grow in nutritionally poor soil.
  • It can tolerate atmospheric pollution.

Uses :

  • The bark is a popular remedy for dysentery and other complaints of the bowels.
  • The tree is used in homeopathic remedies for cancer.
  • The plants have extensive root systems and sucker freely, they can be used in soil-stabilization programmes.
