The academic year 2024-2025 for freshers will start with Orientation Programme:Satellite Campus:

ALL SF UG & PG – Wednesday, 26 June 2024 at 10.00 a.m. in the Assembly Hall, Chatrapatti.

Main Campus:

All Aided UG & PG and SF PG – Thursday, 27 June 2024 at 10.00 am in the Edward Nolting Hall, Goripalayam.

All Art SF UG – Friday, 28 June 2024 at 10.00 am in the Edward Nolting Hall, Goripalayam.

All Science SF UG – Friday, 28 June 2024 at 10.00 am in the Edward Nolting Hall, Goripalayam.

All students are asked to report at the respective department registration counter at the Flint Square between 8.00 a.m. and 9.45 a.m. Students who have paid the Hostel Fees are asked to report to the respective Hall immediately after their registration at the department counter.

Note:

Ensure you bring the following documents with photocopy:

  1. Transfer certificate
  2. Mark statement
  3. student bank account linked with Aadhar
  4. Aadhar card
  5. community certificate

Vision

The Vision is to build the Youth with the mind and spirit to serve the society and work for the social uplift of the down – trodden masses of our nation as a movement

Mission

The National Service scheme has been functioning with motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” in view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through community Service and Community Service through Education.

Objectives

The main objectives of National Service Scheme (NSS) are:

  • Development of the personality of students through community service.
  • Understand the community in which they work.
  • Understand themselves in relation to their community.
  • Identify the needs and problems of the community.
  • Apply their education in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
  • Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
  • Develop competence required for group living and sharing of responsibilities
  • Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes
  • Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters and disasters and practice National Integration.
