ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Industrial Biotechnology started in the year 2020, is accredited by UGC. It also endorses its objective by providing excellent teaching through practical facilities and research facilities in the frontiers areas of Biotechnology. The Department of Industrial Biotechnology offers B. Voc Programme in Industrial biotechnology. The sole aim of this course is to prepare students for careers in industrial biotechnology, which includes manufacturing, alternative energy, and the development of biomaterials. It entails employing cells or elements of cells, such as enzymes, to produce useful industrial goods.
