About the Institution
The American College is known for its focus on academic excellence and social relevance for the past 141 years. Originally founded by American Missionaries in 1841 and grew into a collegiate department in 1881. The College offers 30 undergraduate and 16 postgraduate programmes. There are 7 research centres offering Ph.D programmes. The college was re-accredited (3rd Cycle) by NAAC with Grade “A+” CGPA– 3.47 on a 4 point scale in 2022. Parallel undergraduate self-financed programmes in its Satellite Campus at Chattrapatti from 2015 for the benefit of the rural and less privileged students. The college has tie-ups with many state, central and private industries and institutes. The college has exchange programme with Concordia College, New York.
About the Department
The Department traces its origin back to 1913 as an undergraduate department. It was elevated with a Post Graduate Program in 1963 and with Research Programs in 1978. The present curriculum in the PG and UG programmes provides the state of art knowledge in Physics with the complete sense of excitement and exploration. Currently, the department is running active research in all the thrust areas of the Physical sciences.Padma Bhushan & Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Awardee, FRS, Co-Discoverer of Raman Scattering. Three of our aluminees are Bhatnakkar awardee.

THEME OF THE CONFERENCE
This conference is organized to bring together the scientist from various fields in Physics to explore the recent trends in their respective research areas. This will include the following research area.

Post graduate students, Research Scholars, Industrialist and Faculty members of physical and biological sciences are eligible to attend this program. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the conference.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts in the prescribed format to be submitted on or before November 01, 2023 to convenoricrap24@gmail.com
Abstract should not exceed 250 words. Title of the abstract should be in Times New Roman with size 14 and the text is in 12 font size with 1.5 line spacing. Selected papers will be notified for Oral / Poster presentation to your registered email. The abstracts will be published in conference proceeding with ISBN number. After peer review, full paper (more than 3 pages) will be published in the UGC Care / Scopus indexed journal. For poster presentation, size of the poster should be 1m x 1m.
