HISTORY

The undergraduate B.Sc. Microbiology (Spl. Immunology) was Started in the year 1997 to meet the growing demand in the science community . The department was upgraded as the postgraduate department of Immunology and Microbiology in the year 2002. This department aims to train the students in the working of the immune system, its activation, its role in the prevention of diseases, the immune techniques & technologies underlying diagnostics and therapeutics.
