The department of Food Science has been established in the year2016. It encompasses spacious smart class room and a high-tech Laboratory. PG food Science and Nutrition program is undertaken in Stoffer’s hall.UG Food Science program was started in the year 2017 at Saunders hall.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exists between Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR – CFTRI, Mysore) and The American College, Syllabi has been prepared with inputs and guidance of scientists of CFTRI and industry partners.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Arthur Asirvatham hospital, Madurai in extending research collaborations solely in the area of Clinical Nutrition.
