 ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The American College, Madurai is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education in South India, with a rich heritage that spans over a century. Established in 1881 by American missionaries, the college has consistently upheld the values of academic excellence, character formation, and social responsibility. Affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, college offers 33 UG and 21 PG courses in the main campus along with 8 UG and 4 PG vocational degree programs.
